Landscaping with Berries

In early September, it can be difficult for a gardener to find hardy plants that add color and interest to a landscape, at a time when most shrubs are collapsing from the hot, dry summer. Here are a few of Riverview's favorite late summer features - shrubs that produce berries.

MumsIt's Fall at Riverview

Fall décor is on its way! We now have hardy mums for sale at our retail store! Corn shocks and pumpkins will be arriving September 14th so mark your calendar and join us in creating a festive fall!

jade plantHouseplant Care
It's soon time to bring your houseplants inside for the fall and winter. Remember to do this before the first frost. Pull any tiny weeds and wash the foliage of your houseplants to remove dust and insects. Wash the outside of the pot as well!  Before bringing houseplants indoors, spray with a coating of horticultural oil - we like Bonide All-Seasons Spray Oil. Spraying your houseplants will help to kill any eggs or larvae that may have survived the washing.
